Railay Beach – Not Just Another Beach
One of the absolute highlights of my trip was Railay Beach. Technically not an island, but only accessible by boat due to the surrounding limestone cliffs, Railay feels like its own little world. You arrive by long-tail boat, and suddenly you’re in paradise.

West Railay is where the soft sand and luxury resorts are.

East Railay is quieter and cheaper, perfect for backpackers.

Don’t miss the short hike up to the Railay Viewpoint or the hidden Lagoon if you’re up for a bit of climbing.
